Axxela limited in partnership with the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Gas Marketing Limited (NNPC GML), has successfully completed a significant phase of their natural gas infrastructure project by building a 5-kilometre pipeline network in Victoria Island, Lagos.

This project is a crucial development for the energy landscape in Lagos, providing reliable energy solutions that are expected to bolster economic growth and development in the region. The pipeline network’s first phase runs from outer Marina to Kuramo Beach and is designed to eventually connect key locations, including the proposed Lekki International Airport.

Kehinde Alabi, emphasized the importance of this achievement in expanding natural gas infrastructure in the Greater Lagos Area. The initiative is seen as a way to foster self-sustaining economic clusters and strengthen Nigeria’s socio-economic growth.
The Managing Director of NGML, Justin Ezeala, also highlighted the long-standing partnership between NGML and Axxela, noting their significant contributions to natural gas advocacy over the past two decades.
