Dangote and other African leaders are set to discuss the future of the continent, this 11th edition of the Financial Times Africa Summit is scheduled to take place on October 29 at The Peninsula in London.

The summit is expected to bring together a range of African Heads of State, policymakers, global investors, and business leaders to engage in discussions on Africa’s sustainable growth and development.

A statement on Wednesday listed the speakers, including the President of Liberia, Joseph Boakai; the President of the Dangote Group, Aliko Dangote; former Deputy Governor of the South African Reserve Bank, Kuben Naidoo; the President & CEO of Africa Finance Corporation, Samaila Zubairu, and other dignitaries.

It was noted that this year’s edition aims to explore how African nations can leverage their unique strengths, navigate global uncertainties, tackle the climate crisis, and drive sustainable and inclusive growth.

The event will cover a wide range of topics, including geopolitics, finance and investment, industrialization, technology startups, the energy transition, decarbonization, and sustainability.
